As lsl4x says, keep them in a pack if you want to be able to resell them. Otherwise you can create a nice display. A diorama as suggested or a display case. Individual or all in a nice multi level glass display case (Ikea has some
. This is both to have a set place to put them as well as to protect them from dust. By the way, some of those plastic chocolate boxes are nice as display too.

display in original pack are for those who are into reselling.
if you intend to enjoy your collection for life, you would want to be able to touch them. and you will want them arranged such that their best features (your faves) are up front. and for some, to actually build a habitat for them some landscaping or scenario.

I display my 1/24 scale Nascar cars in clear plastic cases that have mirrored bottoms and sides. The cars stay clean and all I have to dust is the cases. You can buy them in bulk on E-Bay,which is the cheapest way to go verses buying a single case.
