I was thinking about starting to collect diecast 1:18 car models and wanted to know what was the best brand? AUTOart? Maisto? Hot Wheels? ERTL? Kyosho?

It really depends on what type of cars you plan on collecting. Hot Wheels and Dub City would be a good choice if your focus was muscle cars. Lane Die cast along with Danbury Mint are two collectibles that offer a wide variety of cars but for a larger prictag. The Internet would be a good place to shop around for what your particular interest is. It’s a great hobby, good luck!
