I would like to start collectinf Diecast Model Cars. I have read many of the other answers, and found that Hot Wheels seems to be the #1 pick. The place by me that sells them has “American Muscle” brand mainly. I want prices to be an average of $30 per car. I will pay a little more if they are the more sought after models. I am looking into getting anything from old classic muscle cars (classics, not extremely customized), to the newer Mustangs.. Camaros.. Lamborghini.. ect ect.

I’ve found good old Ebay to be a great source of all kinds of models and I’ve seen quite a few 1/18th scale vehicles there…Also check your local “toy liquidator”…Lots of out-of-production models wind up in those places.

scale cars.com has a small store and a great website. They have every kind of model that i look for. they are a little on the expensive side but they are great in detail.
