Is it something you can just use Excel for? Are you needing to do queries and reports or just store info?

Access is a fairly simple program to use, in terms of compliling a databse. There are wizards to help you construct the database and run queries and reports.
Spend a little time studying it and it should be capable of doing all you require.

If you can’t get to grips with Access, you can do a flat database using Excel, or even if you have Works, that is simpler than Access.
