My husband’s first car was a 1948 Plymouth convertible and I am looking for a diecast of that model. If you have any information where I can purchase one or contact someone who has one, please let me know. I have searched all the major diecast, franklin, danbury, motormint, nationalmotormint, ebay, etc. I want to surprise my husband with this car. It will be number one in his diecast collection. Thank you

You’ve got a tough one there! Manufacturers of course produce those items that statistically will sell. The ‘57 Chevrolets of course, late sixties Mopars, two seat Thunderbirds and other items that aren’t a financial risk when marketing. The closest to a ‘48 Plymouth that I am aware of is.. a 1/25th resin coupe and there’s also a ‘49 Desoto diecast, but I recall it to be a 1/43rd scale.
Just for questions like this, over the last two years, I have been building a museum that has info on over 5000 models available, both past and current. Pictures of the cars I mentioned are posted there for your consideration.
