Is there a simple, freeware database programme, that I can use to catalogue a model toy collection?
It should be easy to use, easy to change field names etc., accept graphic files and work on XP.
I have tried Microsoft Access, but it is far to complicated for a beginner, also the Diecast programme from the states, but that is limited to 10 entries on the free version.

Hey guys I have a friend that I would like to get a Shelby GT diecast model car for, and I am not a diecast car collector by any means so I dont know the good places to get them (whether on net or off) but the twist is I would like to engrave it somehow. So is there any sites out there that offer engraving on model cars? If not, then where can I go to have it engraved after I purchase it, thanks in advance

I want him to buy a Diecast 1:18 scale model car, a flying aeroplane, a remote controlled car and a robot. Please can you give me the approx prices in US dollars.
I have a few models issued directly by General Motors to dealors in the 50’s,60’s and 70’s.These are mostly Corvettes,57 Belair Conv’t,57 Nomad Wagon,etc.Doors open.hoods open.trunks open,the steering wheel actually turns the wheels.These came from the family dealorship that was sold about 1970.The scale seems to be 1/24th or larger.These are far superior to anything on the market today.They are diecast with detailed workmanship.If there is another collector out there I would be interested in finding out more about their value and can supply more information and photos.

its an Austen A40 pickup circa 1950-52.
i dont mind an original or a reproduction but i have searched so many places and cant find it. He already has the car so its just the pickup version he needs. I check ebay daily so DONT suggest that. if you know a website that stocks it or a distributor i can order it from PLEASE let me know. or if you know the model reference number for it, it would help. thanks
I’m talking about 1/18 scale models like Ferrari’s, Lamborghini’s and Porsche’s can anyone HELP me out if they know any good stores that sell them? I have some models from places in Toronto and Montreal but they are all gifts from people who go on trips and know I love cars
I am desperate. Upon doing some research, I have come up with nothing thus far. As ackward as it may sound, I am looking for a diecast garbage truck toy car that I used to have when I was about 5 years old. I recall this as being my most favorite toy, and I would love to have another one just like to to put up on the wall for memories. The toy is a replica of a Chicago city garbage truck. The truck was brown with some white paint, and it had a bubble shaped back end. It is 6 wheeled, and has a flat front. The toy had a plastic piece on its side, so when that you can move it back and fourth to simulate the movement of the crusher in the truck. To my recollection, my mother purchased this toy for me in 1994 (+ or – 1 year). If I recall correctly, the packaging of the toy had a neon highway theme to it.
I am really desperate, and I really appreciate anyone will to help me out in finding this piece of childhood which I have lost in time.
