Diecast Models FAQs » Museums. http://diecastmodelsonline.com/faqs Sun, 02 Aug 2009 19:49:32 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.8 en hourly 1 Toy Museums.? http://diecastmodelsonline.com/faqs/toy-museums/ http://diecastmodelsonline.com/faqs/toy-museums/#comments Sun, 02 Aug 2009 01:44:36 +0000 Diecast Collector http://diecastmodelsonline.com/faqs/toy-museums/ I have quite a large collection of model cars ,close to alomst 800 and rising, I have desided its time for me to stop and grow up,the models are mostly 1/43rd scale and are made by lledo, vangauards,and oxford diecast nearly all boxed apart from one or two some of the boxes are a bit tatty but they are over 20 years old but the cars themselfs are all mint and never been played with,and quiet a few of them are of limited editions,I do also have a few 1/18th scale cars made by auto art,solido,ertal, and yatming, other makes I have are matchbox and corgi and are of a mixture of superkings and juinor scales,are there any toy museums in the uk where I can donate them?
I would sell them but I’d never get my money back,although I have looked up the prices in Model price guides,you can only get what people are willing to pay for them at the time,I rather have them go somewhere where they can be enjoyed by all.
