Yes they did! I owned a large collection of matchbox/hotwheels to include 3-4 80s era Towncars…there was a light blue & a gold tone! I used small pieces of modeling clay on the chassis to anchor to the dash of my 1985 Signature Series… more than 70 Matchbox/Hotwheels with a very busy ’scene’ to include helicopter, emergency vehicles and ’spaces’ for the taxis & cops to roll back & forth when I made my turns!
