Yes they did! I owned a large collection of matchbox/hotwheels to include 3-4 80s era Towncars…there was a light blue & a gold tone! I used small pieces of modeling clay on the chassis to anchor to the dash of my 1985 Signature Series… more than 70 Matchbox/Hotwheels with a very busy ’scene’ to include helicopter, emergency vehicles and ’spaces’ for the taxis & cops to roll back & forth when I made my turns! I am looking for diecast model kits that you ASSEMBLE yourself and PAINT yourself and under 40$ would help too. if you know of any websites or anything PLEAAAASE help me out. i’ve been looking everywhere and the only diecast models are either already built or missing parts or its just a cheap already painted snap together plastic model. please help.
