Hi, my great grandfather gave me a little tootsie toy model T ford die cast truck that he got as a gift from the police force for his 50th anniversary 50 years ago. on the bottom it says “Model T Ford 1912 Tootsie toy Chicago 24 USA.” I was reading about it on the internet and I saw that it was a “prized collectors item.” It is in great runnning condition, but the paint is chipping in places. It has yellow plastic wheels and the rest is diecast. the seats are painted yellow, the steering wheel and the front radiator are painted gold, and the rest is painted black. I was wondering if it was worth anything. Any information about it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I am desperate. Upon doing some research, I have come up with nothing thus far. As ackward as it may sound, I am looking for a diecast garbage truck toy car that I used to have when I was about 5 years old. I recall this as being my most favorite toy, and I would love to have another one just like to to put up on the wall for memories. The toy is a replica of a Chicago city garbage truck. The truck was brown with some white paint, and it had a bubble shaped back end. It is 6 wheeled, and has a flat front. The toy had a plastic piece on its side, so when that you can move it back and fourth to simulate the movement of the crusher in the truck. To my recollection, my mother purchased this toy for me in 1994 (+ or – 1 year). If I recall correctly, the packaging of the toy had a neon highway theme to it.
I am really desperate, and I really appreciate anyone will to help me out in finding this piece of childhood which I have lost in time.
Thank you very much for your time.
I know a guy who has 30+ of them and needs to sell them, but many people think they are not worth anything because they are from Wal*Mart. Most of them are “Winner’s Circle”. He collected them from 1992 to 2006.
Any price under ninety dollars is most suitable, but i’m able to work for it up to $120 by selling lemonade and all that nonsense. And please don’t give me a website that is offering the metal diecast 7 inch one. I’m looking for a life-size one. Thank you.
I spilt super glue on the side door of one of my diecast models
( Is there any way I can remove it?
